Monday Manicures

Hey everyone!
It has been forever since I posted on here! I recently read some of my old post and honestly it is slightly embarrassing. I was not planning on starting to post again, however I was recently talking to some of my friends and they told me I should start up again. So here is the first post of hopefully a less embarrassing summer of posts.

My eldest brother recently graduated from high school and I wore a black dress to the ceremony. I wanted to paint my nails a pretty summer color and ended up finding this gorgeous coral color from Essie called "Sunday Funday". I was extremely excited upon this find as I have been looking for a coral for a while. However, previously all of the corals I have found have had more of an orange undertone which I personally do not like with my skin tone. This beautiful Essie color has a pink undertone which I love, and is exactly what I had been looking for. Even better, it has a pretty, shimmer of gold throughout it.

As far as nail art goes, I kept it simple with a flower on my ring finger. As previously mentioned in a old post, my school does not allow nail polish other than nude and clear. As a result I have gotten out of practice as far as nail art goes. Therefore, I kept my first attempt at nail art, since around Christmas time, simple with a flower on my ring finger. In addition to getting out of practice, the busy school year has also not allowed me much time to take care of my nails, so please excuse the shape of my nails and condition of cuticles.

Monday Manicures

It is summer!!! And that means that I can start painting my nails weekly!! So to kick off the summer, I did a watermelon design on my nails, if you have been reading my blog for a while you will know that last year I did a watermelon design where on all of my nails was the same design that I have on my ring finger. I love watermelon and it is just such a summer-y fruit, it just always reminds me of summer so I knew I had to do watermelon nails, but at the same time I didn't want to do the same design that I did last year, which lead to this design where I did the red slice of watermelon only on my ring finger while on the rest of my fingers I did the outside of a watermelon. I think it turned out super cute and can't wait to start blogging more this summer!!

Tuesday Toes

I can't believe that I haven't done Tuesday toes in almost a year!! It's not like I haven't painted them in a year.. Anyway my aunt and uncle and cousins were staying with us over the weekend and my aunt gave me this really pretty coraly orange color by Essie called "hip-anema" and I decided to try it out on my toes since I have been painting them this really pretty dark brown with gold in it for the whole fall and winter, so I decided it was time for spring colors! Now, I did three flowers on the big toe, except the my white nail polish is absolutely terrible, it's goopy, and thick, and I really need a new one but I made it work for this design, it just doesn't look as nice as normal. And also my top coat is not the best top coat and it made the color darker then it is supposed to be. But in spite of those minor annoyances I actually like how they turned out! I will definitely be getting a new white and a new topcoat soon though, which will make me want to experiment with lots of new designs!:)

Monday Manicures

I know I know..... I haven't posted since January... I can't believe it's been that long. I have been extremely busy with school and ballet and my school has spring break later then most schools where I live. And there's the no nail polish policy at my school so even though it's only two days a week I still don't have time to paint my nails and then remove it before school.. Anyway we finally have our spring break!!! And so I did my nails. Sadly because I haven't done a design since January I'm out of practice, so this design is not all that fancy. And I haven't really had any ideas for nail art... So please leave ideas down below!!!! 

I ended up doing a pale pink background with little flowers all over them. I did a different design with the flowers on each finger. The flowers are darker pink with a yellow center. I picked the pastel pink for the background since pastels are very springy. 

Again please leave ideas for nail designs as well as posts since when we go back to school next week we only have three weeks left of school before we are out for the summer!!!!!!! Then I will have lots of time to post so I want to start planning different posts to do.

Monday Manicures

Hello everyone!

Last year I did this nail design but never posted it for some reason. It is definitely one of my favorites though!! It's a really pretty winter gradient, this nail polish reminds me of winter for some reason.

Merry Christmas and Nails!

Merry Christmas everyone!! I hope you guys have had a blessed and wonderful Christmas so far and will continue to have one. :)

I didn't post my nails on Monday because I wanted to wait and see if I would get any nail polish for Christmas that I would want to use on this design, which I did so I am glad I waited. Snowflakes won from the poll so I hope you guys enjoy this design!! I did snowflakes and little snow flurries on a blue background with light sparkles, I really like how it turned out!!  There will be other Christmas nails going up during the twelve days of Christmas so don't worry if the nail design you voted for wasn't the one that won, chances are it will go up later!:)

 And then I was messing around with different filters and I thought this one looked really pretty, and like it was night with snowflakes on my nails.

Which one???

Hello everyone!
So school finished last week and ballet finishes on Thursday, and now I have another problem... I can not decide which Christmas nail design to do first. Luckily it is a problem that is easily resolved with a little help from you guys:) So what I want you to do is to go to the little poll thingy on the side and vote for which Christmas/winter nail design I should do first.
